Hump Day Motivation

Uh oh.  Guess what day it is? Guess. What. Day. It. Is.  Huh? Anybody?

Hello, my current favorite commercial.  Do you ever wish you could meet the geniuses behind your favorite commercials? I imagine this wildly creative jovial (and of course HOT) man who would make me laugh every second of the day, and so yeah, he should basically be my husband.

For 9-5ers, Wednesday is a small victory in the workweek.  You've made it through more than half of the week and it's all 'downhill' from there.  Or at least that's how I used to think about it when I was working.  Ugh, what a horrible way to think about life though isn't it?  Wishing away minutes, hours, and days of your life just to get to the next weekend?  I spent so much time doing that, and I'm so afraid of getting trapped and falling into that mindset again.  But, I've been finding it's going to take a lot of hard work to find true fulfillment.  I mean as funny as that commercial is, look at those people in the cubicles.  There is a reason the typical stereotype of a dull drab existence inside the cubes is out there.

Lately, I've been feeling kind of stuck.  I have a vision for the way I want my life to be, but I'm not sure how to get there.  It's like I can see the end point, but I'm trudging through the forest with no map and an assortment of different trails to take.  Case in point, this is usually how my weekend hikes go.  I often go out on new trails, with no map, and no companion.  Not the smartest idea.  Sometimes, I turn around and other times I keep going until I find the end point.  I guess that's the way my life is going right now as well.  It's just me finding me way. Sometimes getting lost, sometimes turning back, but I have to have faith that if I keep going, or keep trying I will get 'there'.

I have a whole board of inspirational mantras, quotes, and statements on Pinterest that I read when I'm feeling directionless or hopeless.  I'd like to share some I'm currently loving, in case you are in need of some inspiration or motivation on this Hump Day.
